Preseason has commenced for the Gosnells Hawks Football Club under new Head Coach Aaron Ballantyne and assistant coaches Shae Hayden and Paul Clements. Aaron, a former player is excited on his appointment and is pleased with numbers at training at this early stage of the season.
Anyone wishing to join a progressive club, keep fit and enjoy a game of Australian Rules Football is invited to join or train with the Hawks Football Club at Gosnells Oval, Terrence Street Gosnells at 6 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for preseason training.
The club will participate in C1 league and reserves and in E3 Division of the WAAFL this season. The club will also field a team in the Ian Dargie Division of the colt’s competition. Players turning 20 in 2019 are eligible to play in that competition. The club also has a women’s team in the WAAFL. The club may also field a team in the Metropolitan Football league.
President Michael McCaughan said he was confident all teams would perform well this season and participate in the finals.
