Gosnells Football Club is pleased to advise, that after an extensive interview process, Aaron Ballantyne has accepted the appointment as the Club’s League Coach for 2019.
As a former Gosnells player, Aaron is well known within the Club. Since ceasing playing, Aaron has spent a number of years coaching at both East Perth and Peel, and is an accredited Level 2 Coach.
Aaron is a West Australian Football Commission employee, currently appointed as District Development Officer in the Peel Region.
The Club acknowledges and thanks Corey Bertram for the time and effort he has put in over the past 3 years and we wish him well in the future.
Corey took over as League Coach in 2016, after the Club failed to win a game in 2015, and was relegated to C2. Since taking over the League Coach role, the team made finals in 2016 in C2, a Grand Final in 2017 in C2 and was promoted to C1 in 2018, once again making inroads into the finals.
Thanks to his efforts, the Club is now well set up for 2019 and beyond.
