The 2019 football season gets under way this Saturday 6th April 2019. The Gosnells Hawks Football Club will participate in C1, E2 and the Dargie Division of the colts in the Perth Football League. The women’s team will play in the B Division of the same competition.

Aaron Ballantyne has been appointed head coach of the club. Aaron is a former player at the club and recently has been involved with clubs in the WAFL in player development. The committee has appointed Steve Davis as reserves coach and Sam Parker as the coach of our third senior team. The colts will be coached by James Gliddon and the women by Mogan Jenyns.

President Michael McCaughan said he was confident all teams would perform well this season. 

Any person wishing to join a progressive club, keep fit and enjoy a game of Australian Rules Football is invited to join the Gosnells Hawks Football Club. The maximum age for colt’s players was extended by 12 months in 2013. All players turning 20 in 2019 are eligible to play in that competition. New players are welcome. The club training is on Gosnells Oval, Terence Street, Gosnells on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm.

The fixtures this week are the league, reserves, colts and women’s teams travel to Warnbro Sporting Complex to play the Warnbro Swans. The E2 are at home to play Curtin Uni Wesley at 2.30 pm
